First Home Buyers Dream Comes True

A Young Couple came to me late October and their faces said it all.  They were completely exhausted spending all of their spare time looking for their forever home.  They had been looking for 18 months, attending as many open homes as they could, sending copious amounts of messages to Real Estate Agents and not getting a reply, putting in offers on homes within their budget but not even getting a look in.  They had been married for 3 months and were currently living with their parents or house sitting for friends, as they just could not land the home of their dreams.  They were ready to give up.  

They reached out to me to find out how I could help after being referred to me by a family member.  After spending some time getting to know them and what it was that they were after in their “Dream Home”, I let them know that I could find their dream home, within their budget, and fingers crossed – before Christmas, they immediately said “That would be fantastic”.

They had been to a mortgage broker months ago and were not quite sure where their budget was at.  I referred them to a Mortgage Broker to get their purchasing budget sorted.  They also did not know of any conveyancers to assist with the contract, so I put them in contact with a Conveyancer that I have worked with numerous times.  

After 2 weeks of full-on researching, connecting with real estate colleagues and inspecting suitable homes, I had found “The One”.  We inspected the property together so that they could get a feel for it.  After sleeping on it for the night, I rang them to ask if they were keen to put in an offer.  I advised that it would sell quickly given the current property environment and advised the purchase price that would be appropriate for the property.

I put in an offer on a gorgeous, freshly renovated, 4 Bed, 2 Bath, 2 Car, Double Story Brick and Tile on 700m2 in a growing pocket.  After a tiny wee bit of negotiation, we won the deal and signed a contract that afternoon.  Saving them $17000 off of the list price. To say they were excited would be an understatement.  I then referred them to a Building and Pest Inspector to provide a report.  My services do not just stop at buying the property, I also have a large folio of contacts to assist with all aspects of property purchasing, property management and property repairs and maintenance. 

They have now settled, in time for Christmas, and are looking forward to making this house their home.
